MICHELLE’S HAVEN

Our designer’s first short-term rental project, Michelle's Haven, is a charming mid-century beach cottage located in Port Austin, just across from the stunning shores of Lake Huron. The designer transformed this property with iconic yellow and white striped awnings, making it a recognizable local landmark. Featured in Cottages & Bungalows magazine, this cottage has thrived commercially and set a new benchmark for excellence in the area. The designer’s innovative and standout approach established the gold standard for the brand and business.

THE MAPLE PROJECT

The Maple Project showcases the designer’s stunning transformation of an outdated 1990s kitchen within a 1925 farmhouse-style home. The designer reimagined the space into a gleaming kitchen that blends modern convenience with vintage charm, seamlessly evoking the feel of an original feature. The designer ensured the design aligns perfectly with the home’s architectural style, a critical factor in crafting successful short-term rentals.

OLD ENGLISH COTTAGE

In another standout project, our designer transformed a 1926 English cottage in East Lansing, Michigan, into a space brimming with character and timeless appeal. During the renovation, our designer meticulously preserved the home’s original architectural details, seamlessly integrating them into a modern kitchen design. The designer replicated classic windows and incorporated a vintage-inspired gas stove, nestled in an arched alcove that harmonizes with the home’s existing archways for a cohesive aesthetic. The addition of unlacquered brass hardware ensures durability and elegance, designed to age gracefully alongside the home, enhancing its unique charm.
